Section 21 ends at commencement of the Renters' Rights Bill. If you have a possession process you intend to start, do it now or be ready to switch to Section 8.
The expanded grounds cover sale, landlord-occupation, serious arrears and serious anti-social behaviour. Each needs documented evidence - a marketing instruction for sale, a sworn declaration for landlord-occupation. The Bill leaves no room for the 'no reason needed' shortcut Section 21 historically offered.
